Write for Us:
IELTS & English Learning

Share your experience, teaching expertise and practical ideas with IELTS candidates and English learners. Auvoxi welcomes original article proposals from teachers, writers, organisations and learners.

What we publish

We welcome contributions from teachers, writers, learners, schools, organisations and IELTS or English learning platforms. Submissions from other providers in the same field are welcome and are assessed on their value to our readers.

We welcome useful, clearly written articles about IELTS preparation, English language learning and teaching. Relevant topics include:

  • IELTS Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking strategies, practice methods and common difficulties.
  • English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and academic language.
  • Teaching approaches, classroom experience and practical guidance for English educators.
  • Personal learning experiences, study methods and thoughtful analysis of learning tools or resources.

Article guidelines

  • Original work. Submit original writing that you created or are authorised to submit, and acknowledge any sources, quotations or material created by others.
  • First publication preferred. We prefer articles that have not been published elsewhere, but first publication and exclusivity are not required. If your article has appeared elsewhere, provide the original publication URL and confirm that you have the right to authorise republication. For previously published work, we encourage an updated version with substantial additions, such as new examples, analysis, exercises or explanations tailored to Auvoxi readers.
  • A clear purpose. Explain what the reader will learn and provide specific advice, examples or observations.
  • Readable English. Use a clear structure, descriptive headings and manageable paragraphs. Check your draft before submitting it.
  • Relevant content. Articles should help IELTS learners or English educators. Any mention of a product or service should contribute to the topic.
  • Supporting images. If you include images, send them separately with suggested placement, descriptive alt text and source or credit information. Only provide material you have permission to use.

Author credit and links

Accepted articles include an author introduction at the end of the article. You may submit an article under your personal name or an organisation name.

An author portrait or organisation logo is optional. You may send a link to the image or attach it to your email. The image appears to the left of your name in article listings and in the author introduction at the end of the article. An image URL is used to supply the image and does not count towards the three external links.

Please identify the exact link text and destination URL for each proposed link. All links and their placement are subject to editorial review.

How to submit an article

Start by emailing [email protected] with the subject line Article Submission — Your Proposed Title.

Please include:

  • Your proposed article title and a short summary.
  • Your name or organisation, a brief introduction and relevant experience.
  • Your proposed author or organisation website link.
  • An optional author portrait or organisation logo, supplied as an image URL or email attachment.
  • Any proposed contextual links, including the intended link text and destination URLs.

Preparing your draft

Once we have agreed on the topic, send an editable Word document (.docx) containing your article title, short summary, full article and short author bio.

Insert your proposed contextual hyperlinks directly into the relevant words or phrases in the document. At the end, include a link list showing each link’s text, destination URL and location in the article.

If you prefer to submit the draft in the email body, mark the two positions as “Link 1” and “Link 2” and provide the corresponding link text and URLs below.

Editorial review

We review submissions for relevance, clarity, originality and usefulness to our readers. We may accept, decline or request revisions to a submission. Articles should offer useful information rather than serve solely as advertisements for a product or service.

We may make minor edits to grammar, formatting and clarity. Changes that substantially affect the article’s facts, meaning or viewpoint will be agreed with you before publication.

Submitting a proposal or draft does not guarantee publication. We will contact you by email about your submission.

Publication does not guarantee that Google will index the article or that it will achieve any particular search ranking.

Publication terms

Copyright remains with the author or other rights holder. If you submit on behalf of an organisation or another rights holder, you must have permission to authorise publication.

Before publication, we will confirm your publication permission by email. By giving that confirmation, you grant Auvoxi a non-exclusive licence to publish and display the agreed article on its website and retain it in its online archive, with author or organisation credit.

You remain free to publish your work elsewhere.

Submission and publication are currently free. We do not pay author fees or royalties.
