Submit Research & Insights:
IELTS & English Learning

Share research, findings and evidence-based insights with IELTS learners and English educators. Submit new work for first publication on Auvoxi, or suggest previously published research for our editorial listing.

What we consider

We welcome research reports, studies and thoughtful analysis related to IELTS preparation, English learning, teaching and assessment. Independent researchers, teachers, universities, organisations and other IELTS or English learning providers are welcome to submit relevant work.

Choose at least one research topic in your email. Select all that apply:

  • Test Preparation & Teaching
  • Writing Assessment
  • Speaking Assessment
  • Listening & Reading Assessment
  • AI & Technology
  • Test Validity & Fairness
  • Score Comparability
  • Other

Additional research keywords or tags are optional. We may adjust topics and tags during review.

Two ways to submit

First publication on Auvoxi

Choose this route if the work has not been published elsewhere and you would like Auvoxi to publish the full text. Accepted work receives an Auvoxi research page, and its listing title links to that page. It is labelled “First published on Auvoxi”.

  • Send the complete manuscript with its title, short summary, author details and references.
  • Include figures, tables or images where relevant, with captions, source credits and their intended positions within the text.
  • An external publication URL or publisher is not required. Our editors prepare the page’s search title, description and keywords before publication; you may send suggestions.

Previously published research

Choose this route if the work is already available elsewhere. Accepted research receives a listing whose title links directly to the original research. This route does not create a separate Auvoxi full-text page.

  • Provide the original research URL, title, a short description, publication year and credited authors.
  • Link to the specific research page or document. The full text should be accessible without login, registration or payment.
  • The original publisher’s name and website are optional. If you provide a name without a website, it appears as plain text. A full manuscript is not required for this route.

Author credit and profile links

We credit the people who created the work. Please provide every author’s name in the original or agreed publication order. Author credit is displayed separately from publisher information.

  • Individual profile links are optional. Each author may provide one personal website, ORCID page, institutional profile or other appropriate public biography URL. Without a URL, the author’s name appears as plain text.
  • Individual portraits are optional. You may attach an image for each author and identify whose image it is. Authors without a portrait receive a neutral grey profile icon.
  • Keep authorship and publication distinct. Identify the actual authors and, when relevant, the original publisher. An affiliation alone does not identify the publisher.

References and links within the research

Cite the sources of research findings, data, quotations and ideas you draw on. For a first-publication manuscript, mark the relevant passages and include source links and a References section where appropriate.

Keep links relevant to the research and avoid unrelated promotional destinations. We review source, author and publisher links before inclusion.

Research guidelines

  • A clear contribution. Explain what the work investigates or analyses and why it matters to IELTS learners, English educators or researchers.
  • Evidence that supports the claims. Distinguish findings from opinion. For empirical work, explain the methods, data and relevant limitations so readers can understand the results.
  • Accurate attribution. Acknowledge sources and contributors, identify the authors correctly and disclose any relevant funding or commercial relationships.
  • Material you are entitled to share. Confirm you may supply the text, figures and portraits you submit. Include any permissions needed for third-party material.
  • Clear, readable English. Use descriptive headings and explain specialised terms where needed. A submission should offer useful research or analysis beyond product promotion.

How to submit research

Email [email protected] with the subject line Research Submission — Your Research Title.

Please include:

  1. Your name, contact details and relationship to the research or its authors.
  2. Your chosen route: first publication on Auvoxi, or previously published research.
  3. The research title, a short summary, selected research topics and any optional additional tags.
  4. All authors’ names in the correct order, with any optional profile URLs and portraits matched to the corresponding authors.
  5. For first publication: the complete manuscript, references and any figures or tables. A Word document is welcome; you may also send the text in your email. Tell us your intended publication year if relevant; we confirm it during editing.
  6. For previously published work: the original research URL and publication year, plus the publisher’s name and website if you wish to include them.

Editorial review and corrections

We review submissions for relevance, clarity, supporting evidence and usefulness. Work from other IELTS and English learning providers is considered on the same editorial basis. We may accept, decline or request revisions.

We may make minor edits for grammar, formatting and clarity. Substantial changes to findings, meaning or conclusions will be agreed with you before publication. Auvoxi’s editorial review does not confer academic peer-reviewed status.

Authors are expected to support their claims and help resolve questions about their work. If you identify an error after publication, contact us with the relevant details so we can review and correct it where necessary.

Submission does not guarantee publication or listing. We do not guarantee Google indexing or any particular search ranking.

Publication and listing terms

Copyright remains with the respective rights holders. We do not require exclusivity. Previously published research is welcome through the listing route described above.

By submitting, you confirm that the information you supply is accurate to the best of your knowledge, you are authorised to submit the materials, and the credited authors have agreed to the submission.

Before publication or listing, we confirm the scope of your permission by email. For first publication, this covers non-exclusive permission to publish, display and retain the agreed research and accompanying materials on Auvoxi. For previously published research, it covers the agreed listing information, author credits, portraits and links, rather than permission to reproduce the full research. The editing process above applies to both routes.

Research submission, publication and listing are currently free. We do not pay contributors or offer royalties.
